“Sometimes a detail strikes me and I just have to stop to observe it. I have the intimate conviction that I need to make something with it, a drawing or a text. These things change constantly, a few years ago it was shacks, then cards, and then bridges. I like to work in series since the true meaning of the project reveals itself to me as I’m creating my drawings.”
Here, a series of plants drawn in Paris, alongside a poem that spreads along the pages. “Kawarigoma”: a Japanese word that refers to the fact that colors turn white while rotating at high speed.
