Les oiseaux – “Noam Courtois was born on October 30, 2014. He created this notebook between February and April 2022. He was 7.5 years old at the time.

To his passion for drawing was added that of birds. He observes them in nature, in books or on a tablet. He produced 171 of them, all in one go, numbered consecutively.

Deeply moved by these drawings, imbued with great sensitivity and the precision of an ornithologist, I wanted to convey my emotion by publishing his notebook.

No changes have been made to either the texts or the images, in order to preserve the integrity of his creation.”
