L’INSTITUT DES BENJAMINES –Boris is in power and Simone, who hates him, is furious. Fifth volume of the series “The Tales of Marylene” L’INSTITUT DES BENJAMINES is the direct continuation of BORIS L’ENFANT PATATE. The title is inspired by Robert Walser’s novel The Institute Benjamenta, in which we follow Jacob von Gunter who has left his wealthy family to enter a boarding school where we learn only one thing: to obey without question. In this new book, Anne Simon puts the misandrous character Simone Michel in the foreground and tells how the exercise of power can drive a rebellious woman to excess and unreason.
