Spleen 75 – Almost a year ago, groups of vigilant neighbors were formed with the aim of tracking down tags in the city. On the evening of April 24, 2021, one of them filmed a flagrant signature through his window. Immediately, he publishes the video on the internet. A relentless hunt on Twitter followed, in order to identify the identity of the perpetrator and to pillory him. In the course of the investigation, a suspect is designated, and is accused of being the author of the Spleen75 tags.
The present book retraces this hunt, whose elements were published daily by the inquisitors on the internet: photographs, comments, clues and complaints. This account is followed by Spleen75’s confession, a veritable hunchback of Stalingrad against his city, “this filth, which has sold itself to the highest bidders, a vile boil that has yielded to their desires for wonders, the promise of a hybrid citadel, a mixture of the Loft and Créteil Soleil.”
