Golden Mile Tower

Shrub & Tropical Futures Institute have teamed up to showcase archival graphics of Golden Mile Tower. Golden Mile Tower is an strata style mall in Singapore built in the 1970s. Local bookstore and independent space, Shrub, is run in a former locksmith store in the building. In the fast paced and ever-changing city of Singapore, these buildings with charming architecture and local communities, are often demolished to make way for skyscrapers. This collaborative project aims to document and preserve the distinctive character of Golden Mile Tower, featuring vintage ads from the 70s as well as some recently found visuals. Published by Shrub
