The mind's mirror
"When I made the drawings for this book I was thinking a lot about projecting my influences and
emotions directly onto the page in the same way that people can project their emotions onto
others, often subconsciously.
A lot of the shapes and forms come from things that I saw on the day I was drawing, like a floor
plan I saw roughly drawn on a piece of wood on a construction site for example.
It’s a mix of extremely vapid abstract visual ideas and dense stories that will never be fully
explained, like a deep conversation with a stranger.”
