Poster magazine

A collection of posters created by the office of professional illustration Sergio Membrillast’s a newspaper-format publication that brings together all the band posters I’ve designed over the past year, functioning almost like an archive of that period of my work. The selection moves between indie bands and more widely known artists such as Róisín Murphy, U.S. Girls, or Dry Cleaning, and includes posters made for concerts all over the world—London, Stockholm, Chicago—as well as shows in my home city, Valencia. " I’ve always been drawn to the temporary nature of posters, how they exist for a specific moment and then disappear, but at the same time I really enjoy seeing everything together, as a body of work. The newspaper format felt like the perfect container for that. I’m a big fan of Interview Magazine, probably my favourite magazine of all time, and that spirit is definitely present here. This format also allows the posters to be experienced at their original, real size. And if one really connects with you, you can easily frame it—the paper is 160 gsm and the print quality is very high, so it holds up beautifully as an object."
