Letter & Spirit II is my second zine using typography as a medium for experimentation and research. It presents two unfinished typefaces from 2023- one skeletal, one marrow-like- showing that type can carry the textures and behaviours of living matter. Text fragments introduce the Daoist concept of shī jiě, while an embedded zine reveals the pixel-born, mutated interior world of the second typeface.
