Jenni Rope (b.1977) is an Finnish visual artist working with painting, sculpture, artist’s books and public art. When paintings, she does not make sketches, but likes to work intuitively with multiple canvases at the same time, creating repetitive rhythms on the canvas. With her works, she aims to awaken multi-sensory experiences brought by vibrant color and movement.
Rope’s work is inspired by the world of textile patterns, rhythms of architecture and nature, and the shapes brought by chance. A flipbook depicting the movement of Rope’s mobile sculptures.
