Circuit Track Field (Vol 1. Letter & Spirit)
A typeface specimen which borrows from the distinctive visual language of a circuit board, but also highlights the making of letters themselves: circuit (noun): movement that starts and finishes at the same place.
From shot put instructions, to the perpetual Thesta Distatica machine, the typeface takes inspiration from the electronic to the athletic. Contributions to the zine include a genre bending audio mix by FYLYP and an essay by Denise Lai titled "ON DANCE NOTATIONS, TIK TOKS, and AUTHORSHIP". They present alternative ways of experiencing and reading movement, merging sounds and steps respectively into woven pixels of information.
