So and soft it echoes is a personal collection, spanning five years (2018 - 2023) and
moments of life unfolding. It gathers 109 sketchbook drawings and 42 pieces of
writing, including 11 of them in Mandarin, drawn from Chiayun Hu’s journey
between places, faces, and phases.

“ These are the traces of half a decade, marked between saying hellos and
goodbyes, through life passing time. One day I found myself gathering drawings
from those sketchbooks with loosen threads, pages turned by many hands, and
those words tucked away in my notes, had seen no one before. ”
