Postcards

Postcards – Over a career spanning more than 50 years, Ellsworth Kelly has created approximately 400 collage postcards, some of which were used as studies for works in other media or in larger formats. This book presents these cards, from the first monochrome ones of 1949 to those of 2005 representing seascapes. It thus makes it possible to discover a less known and more experimental facet of the work of the American artist.
