Bijou

“Bijou” is an experimental book, at the border between art book and fanzine, entirely printed in Riso. 40 paintings made in the format 106 × 136 cm between December 2019 and December 2020, reinterpreted and worked as new images, with the aim of density and depth of hues. It is a question of going to seek what the oil ink of the riso offers as complexity and as depth, with up to 8 color passages per format. Each painting is facing the previous back, a weft of 10% coming to veil slightly the transparency. For this printing performance, 65 liters of inks were necessary, with the support of Riso France.
