Ce que vaut une femme en 12 heures du jour et de la nuit – After the discovery in a family home of a book dated 1888 and entitled What a Woman is Worth: A Treatise on the Moral and Practical Education of Young Girls, the photographic duo revisits its contents by highlighting the most sexist passages and reinterpreting them through contemporary images in order to show how far it has come one hundred and thirty years after its publication.

To accompany the re-edition of the book, the publisher wanted a female gaze to place its sensitivity and emotions on this work from another time. It will be those of the duo of female artists Elsa & Johanna who propose an unpublished series in black & white of 24 portraits of women on the 24 hours that compose a day.
