Claire Tabouret

This first monograph, Claire Tabouret, by the Los Angeles-based French artist, famous for her figurative and engaged approach in which the body is the central subject, presents a large selection of her works (many paintings and drawings presented on different papers, and some sculptures) as well as a dozen exhibition views. It is accompanied by two original critical texts written by Anna Katherine Brodbeck and Annabelle Teneze, as well as twelve quotations chosen by the artist (Jorge Luis Borges, Alice Neel, Pierre Guyotat, Georges Bataille, Marguerite Yourcenar, Sebald, Oscar Wilde, Adonis, Agnès Martin…) that open each part.
