Les princes du dernier wagon – The train pulls into the station. Suddenly, it smells of melted plastic, steel, piss and detergent. A smell of urban fermentation. I always stand at the end of the platform, a little way back, to watch the train go by. Nothing escapes me. Inspectors, riffraff, workers, chicks, cops or civilians, I spot them all. Steel rubs against steel. I only have to take a few steps forward to reach the doors of the last carriage.
